SHE WAS TIED TO A DUMPSTER to be thrown away like unwanted trash. Thankfully our rescue Colby’s Crew, its leader Ally, and our supporters and donors saw another path for her. One that spreads Joy instead of stealing it. Meet Joy, the tiny buggy horse with the biggest heart. She trotted five miles to a scheduled execution— and she found salvation instead. Welcome Joy

Colby’s Crew Rescue: Allison Smith on Instagram: "STERLING UPDATE— this is a video I put together on the way to QT for the live feed vettings but if we didn’t post Sterling today I think you guys might riot. She got turned out a first time in here for 30 minutes with Ally supervising. We will gradually transition from turnout on a dry lot (no grass) to turnout on pasture (grass) daily until she’s fully comfortable on grass. Hi! We are Colby’s Crew, an immediate response organization set up to rescue horses caught up in the slaughter pipeline. Telling Shadow’s story seems like a good place to return to TikTok. Long time, no video. I have 107 or so to post. Buckle up. #colbyscrew #ohkaytacos #horserescue

WE ARE HERE AND INSIDE TRYING TO SAVE THE HORSES FROM SLAUGHTER… We are about halfway through the drafts. They are so beaten down, injured and exhausted. Every time we clear a small area the remaining ones lay down and rest from overwork and exhaustion. It’s heartbreaking to witness. We need to get them out of here and into the green fiel

Tomorrow. Fall in love. Again and again. An Ohkaytacos Production… The incredibly true story of a horse who went from the richest pockets in the world to the most dangerous and deadly places for horses in the world: the slaughter holding facility. With over $200,000 in lifetime earnings, this horse was sold at public auction for $90,000 at one point and was also bred by a billionaire at one of the richest breeding farms in the world. He should have been a King in the sport of Kings. Instead… he

Some clips from Ally and Colby’s ride today. Can you believe this August marks THREE YEARS of Colby and Ally? Colby was rescued in 2020 from being rendered for his meat. My wife Ally paid $875 to spare his life and learned very quickly that Colby had suffered through 4 years of terrible mistreatment by former owners. Over the last three years she has created an unbreakable bond with Colby and there is nothing he wouldn’t do for her. Colby remains an ambassador for our rescue and he and Ally will
